Guestrooms

The first class rooms with hot spring open-air bath (5, annex)
These are single-story stand-alone sukiyazukuri-style units. Each includes an exclusive approach, a basin and a hot spring open-air bath with a separate washing space. Visitors have a choice of either 1) rooms featuring tatami-mat and wooden floor spaces with two low beds, or 2) pure Japanese-style rooms with a 10-tatami-mat space and futons (Japanese floor mattresses). Rooms are 10 - 13 tatami mats in size (capacity: 3 people; a futon is provided for the third guest).
The second class rooms with hot spring open-air bath (7, main building)
These rooms are situated on the first and second floors of the hotel's authentic sukiyazukuri-style wooden building. Each includes a hot spring open-air bath with a separate washing space and an apre`s-bath balcony. The bathtub is made of Japanese cypress and has the fresh aroma of wood. Guests can really make themselves at home here. The Japanese-style rooms have tatami-mat and wooden floor spaces. Rooms are 11 - 14 tatami mats in size (capacity: 3 people; a futon is provided for the third guest).
The third class rooms (3, main building)
These rooms have a 6-tatami-mat space and a wooden floor space equivalent to 8 tatami mats in area. Four legless chairs are provided for the ultimate in comfort. Rooms are 14 tatami mats in size and suitable for four people, making them ideal for families and groups. There is no hot spring bath in room.
The fourth class rooms (2, main building)
These modern Japanese-style twin rooms feature a separate bath and toilet and two low beds on a wooden floor equivalent to 10 tatami mats in area. They are ideal for couples. There is no hot spring bath in room.
  • All rooms are air-conditioned. Humidifiers and air cleaner are also available.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. Guests may smoke in designated areas.
  • Check-in: 15:00; check-out: 11:00

Cuisine

The hotel's cuisine focuses exclusively on the local freshest seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido.

Hot spring

Spring elements: sodium, calcium, magnesium sulfate, chloride Shirogane's hot spring water has long been said to support remarkably mobility recovery, and is recognized as especially effective against neuralgia, arteriosclerosis, skin disease, constipation and other ailments.

  • Large communal baths and open-air baths: free-flowing hot spring water (Extra hot water may be added, and bath water may be heated for temperature adjustment.)

  • A free shuttle service available to and from JR Biei Sta. Reservations are required at least three days before arrival. Please inquire about pick-up times, as the vehicle allocation times are determined in advance. Please note that the pick-up service may not be available in some cases, due to prior reservations or other circumstances.
